NFP Technologies Joins Convio Fusion Partner Program to Support Growing Demand for Convio’s Solutions

Convio, a leading provider of on-demand constituent relationship management software and services to nonprofit organizations and NFP Technologies, a leading full service consulting and service firm that helps nonprofits analyze and implement fundraising and accounting systems, announced today, that NFP Technologies has joined the more than 160 other companies who are part of the Convio Fusion Partner program. As part of the Fusion program, NFP Technologies will partner with Convio and leading nonprofit clients to expand the strategic service, support and data integration offerings of the two companies to better enable organizations to use the Internet to build community and connect people with their mission.

"We're joining the Fusion program in response to the increased demand from our clients for effective online solutions," said Jim Gifford, CEO of NFP Technologies. "In addition, our expertise at helping organizations integrate open systems like Convio with legacy, on-premise databases helps expand choice for the nonprofit market."

Gifford continued, “We have been impressed with Convio’s reputation for client satisfaction and success, their commitment to innovation and their world-class applications. We expect to leverage their leadership, experience and quality solutions and our expertise in training, conversion and implementation to provide our clients with one of the most powerful communications, marketing, fundraising and advocacy solutions in the market.”

NFP Technologies will provide clients with a variety of value added services including strategic analysis and product implementation, training and education programs, and conversion and implementation services around databases such as Salesforce.com, MPower, Sage FR50, DonorPerfect, Blackbaud’s © The Raiser’s Edge® and many others.

“We appreciate how critical it is to efficiently and effectively manage constituent data and the significant investment of both hard earned dollars and time that organizations have made over the years,” added Gifford. “Convio’s commitment to openness and their integration to the next generation of applications for the nonprofit market such as Salesforce, Facebook, Google and others, provides more freedom and choice for nonprofits to select the applications and vendors that best meet their needs, rather being locked into legacy-based systems.”

NFP joins more than 160 other companies as part of the Fusion program, a network of multi-discipline organizations that provide consulting, services and products to complement Convio's online solutions.

“We are excited to have NFP Technologies join the Fusion Partner program.” said Gene Austin, CEO of Convio. “Their experience and expertise, commitment to success and understanding of data integration, as well as its positive impact on the nonprofit community means that clients will benefit from NFP’s strategic guidance and the efficiency of the on-demand model.”

About NFP Technologies

Based in Monument Colorado, NFP Technologies has been serving the nonprofit market since 1997.

The original core members of NFP served nonprofits for at least 10 years before joining forces with the goal of creating a new type of consulting firm and service provider.  Today NFP had more than twenty full-time staff to meet the needs of clients; with many of those people having more than 20 years of experience.

The NFP technical staff prides themselves on being “people-people” who really know the business. Whether it is improving fundraising or accounting management, seeking training for existing software, or helping a client determine how a reliable Web services provider could be of benefit them, NFP Technologies provides a welcome option to the nonprofit market.

The professional consultants at NFP have analyzed dozens of fundraising applications and accounting systems based on stringent requirements. If the products met NFP’s requirements the NFP staff became certified to install the products and train clients on how to use them. Today, NFP is a national services provider to a diverse community of more than 1,000 nonprofits from coast to coast.
