Fifth Annual Convio Summit 2010 in Baltimore Focuses on Turning Boundaries to Opportunities October 25-27

Stacey Allison, Inspirational Mt. Everest Climber, to Address the 1,100-plus Attendees

The fifth annual Convio Summit, kicks off in Baltimore next week, October 25-27, at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel. The theme of this year’s Summit is “No Boundaries.” Stacey Allison, the first woman to reach the summit of Mt. Everest, and the chair of the American Lung Association in Oregon “Reach the Summit” fundraising event, will deliver the keynote to the record-setting crowd of more than 1,100. Convio Summit 2010 brings together a community of Convio clients, industry experts, and more than 60 partner organizations to share common experiences with their peers, and to discuss the latest strategies for nonprofits to boost fundraising, advocacy and marketing efforts. The 2010 Summit is sold out.

  • Stacey Allison Keynote Presentation
    Summit features a keynote presentation by Stacey Allison. Stacey is the first woman to climb Mt. Everest, and offers tales of inspiration, hope and courage to organizations looking to scale their own monumental challenges.

  • Convio CEO Gene Austin Keynote
    Gene Austin will address Summit attendees on trends in the nonprofit sector, technology and how Convio is working with organizations to provide leading software and services to help them more efficiently and effectively fulfill their mission. Austin’s keynote will be available for replay the afternoon of October 26 at www.nonprofitlive.tv.

  • Leslie Crutchfield Executive Leadership Workshop
    Co-author of the award-winning book Forces for Good: The Six Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits, Leslie delivers an invite-only overview of what nonprofits need to do to be more effective, and practical examples of to make it happen.

  • Panel Sessions
    Nonprofit professionals, industry and Convio experts will participate in panel sessions to share success stories, meet and share ideas, gain in-depth Convio product knowledge, discover best practices for fundraising, marketing and advocacy and how to integrate multiple channels.

  • Birds-of-a-Feather Network Sessions
