CRM manager Joins Convio Fusion Partner Program

Fusion Expansion Supports Growing Demand for Convio’s Solutions and Force.com Offering

Convio, a leading provider of on-demand constituent relationship management software and services to nonprofit organizations and CRM manager, an organization that offers full-service implementation and post “go live” services for clients of salesforce.com, announced today that CRM manager has joined the more than 160 other companies that are part of the Convio Fusion Partner program. As part of the Fusion program, CRM manager will join with other Convio partners and leading nonprofit clients to ensure that organizations take complete advantage of the functionality, power and flexibility of Convio’s new constituent relationship management (CRM) product built on the Force.com Platform and the simple integration with Convio’s online fundraising, advocacy and marketing applications.

"Our clients have experienced great success by putting the power of the salesforce.com and the Force.com Platform to work, enabling them translate their ideas into deployed applications in record time," said Andy Atkins, founder and managing partner, CRM manager. "We were excited to join with Convio to bring our expertise and services to help ensure nonprofits focus on making the world a better place by using the full power of Convio’s comprehensive CRM system. By developing on the Force.com Platform, Convio has opened a new world of opportunity by improving the way nonprofits access, share and derive value from constituent data. We want to help make sure they use that power to its fullest.”

On June 17, 2008, Convio announced the Aikido Charter Program for the company’s new, open, Web-based constituent relationship management system for tracking all constituent interactions across all channels, online and offline. Built on salesforce.com’s Force.com Platform, the product offers an on-demand solution that easily integrates with other open systems to provide powerful tools that help nonprofits focus on their mission, fundraising, advocacy and communications results instead of managing and maintaining software and technology. Currently deployed by selected nonprofit organizations, the product, code-named Aikido, is expected to be generally available in the second half of 2008.

The product is built on salesforce.com’s Force.com Platform. Salesforce.com is the market and technology leader in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) with more than 43,600 customers.

The Force.com Platform-as-a-Service gives ISVs and corporate IT departments a comprehensive set of tools and application services to build any business application and run it in the cloud on the salesforce.com infrastructure. Force.com is being used to build everything from departmental applications – like project management and approval tracking – to large scale, business critical applications processing thousands of transactions per second – like financials and contract management.

“By adding a leading organization like CRM manager to the Convio Fusion Partner program and our Open Initiative, we continue to open the nonprofit market to new and better ways to put the Internet and constituent data to work in helping nonprofits drive results and fulfill their missions,” said Fred Waugh, Vice President of Marketing and Alliances for Convio. “As the Convio ecosystem of partners and clients combines with the developers and service providers focused on developing unique applications for the salesforce.com platform, we expect the number of complementary products and services available to nonprofits to grow as well. With that focus and growth, nonprofits will have greater choice and access to innovative, integrated applications designed to meet their mission needs.”
