Convio Launches Client Advisory Board to Share Ideas and Cultivate Innovation

Nonprofit Leaders to Provide Insight, Knowledge and Best Practices to Support Product and Service Innovation

Convio, Inc. — a trusted partner that leads the way in helping nonprofits use the Internet strategically to achieve extraordinary results — today announced the formation of the Convio Client Advisory Board, the first consolidated advisory board since the successful acquisition of GetActive Software earlier this year. The Convio Client Advisory Board, comprised of clients from both companies, reflects the ongoing successful integration and continues Convio's longstanding commitment to client satisfaction and success.

The CAB brings together a knowledgeable group of clients to discuss the company's current and future product and service plans and openly share their insights, opinions and needs so that Convio continues to create and deliver the most relevant and widely used solutions for online constituent relationship management (eCRM). Comprised of individuals from a cross-section of the company's client base of public interest, charitable and faith-based organizations, the Client Advisory Board will meet quarterly, holding its first meeting in Washington, D.C., June 26 - 27, 2007.

"Convio and GetActive shared a heritage of engaging clients and the nonprofit community in sharing ideas and expertise to more effectively use the Internet to connect and build relationships with supporters and members," said CAB Member, Allison Kozak, Director of Online Strategy, of Earthjustice, who served on GetActive's CAB. "The CAB provides Convio and its rapidly growing client base a group of peers who can provide additional insight — culled from a community of ideas, experiences and results — to help prioritize future product and service offerings."

Added Shirley Sexton, Assistant Vice President, Interactive Marketing from Easter Seals: "I'm really pleased that Convio has embraced the nonprofit sector's approach to collaboration and idea sharing. The Convio Client Advisory Board is a significant step in bringing innovative Internet solutions rapidly to market with input from the consumer at the design stage."

Members of Convio’s Client Advisory Board for 2007 - 2008 are Kimberly Reckner, Lead Technical Liaison of Online Fundraising, American Red Cross National Headquarters; Jeff Miller, IT Manager, AVON; Heather Schatz, Director of Web Development, Brady Campaign; Allison Kozak, Director of Online Strategy, Earthjustice; Shirley Sexton, Assistant Vice President, Interactive Marketing, Easter Seals; Geoff Handy, Vice President of Media and Online Communications, The Humane Society of the United States; Eric Helmuth, Director of Technology and Online Communications, Join Together; Michal Heiplik, Database Administrator, KUHT, Tim Fullerton, eAdvocacy Coordinator, Oxfam America; Stacey DiCarlo, Director of Web Development & E-Marketing, Project Bread, Victoria Miller, Executive Director, Trisomy 18 Foundation; and Greg Kucala, Sr. Vice President, Walk Thru the Bible.

"We are proud to be the provider of choice for many of the nation's leading nonprofits, and value the special partnership we have with the organizations and individuals who have agreed to serve on our Client Advisory Board," said Gene Austin, CEO, Convio, Inc. "Their commitment to share ideas and insight, in combination with our focus on client satisfaction, will not only keep our products and services at the top of our industry but also expand engagement possibilities for the nonprofit sector as a whole. The collective wisdom of these advisory board members, combined with the daily feedback we receive from our growing client base, will help us create and deliver the most relevant and widely used solutions for online constituent relationship management (eCRM)."
