Sessions Focus on Engaging Younger Donors, Getting the Most out of Social Media

The Next Generation of Giving – 1 Year Later (Sunday, March 20th 10:15am – 11:30am) Michael Johnston from hjc, Alanna Scott from Environmental Defense Canada and Matthew Mielcarek from Convio discuss developments of The Next Generation of Giving research one year later and includes best practices to engage donors across four generations.

Yeah, Yup, Right On – Getting the Younger Donor to Say “Yes” to Your Nonprofit (Tuesday, March 22nd 10:30am – 11:15am) Eve Smith from Easter Seals and Blake Groves from Convio provide insight into how to best engage young donors.

Navigating the Waters in a Sea of Social Media (Tuesday, March 22nd 11:30 am – 12:15 pm) Nick Ricci from AFP International and Matthew Mielcarek from Convio will provide best practices for social media use. The session touches on the do’s and don’ts, as well as the challenges and opportunities in considering a social media strategy.
