Can Common Ground be added to an existing Salesforce installation?
Yes. Common Ground has been designed as a managed package that can be added and removed from a Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited Edition installation. However, because Common Ground modifies the core objects for Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities, proper diligence and preparation are required to ensure a successful installation. This is best done by one of our experienced Certified Solution Partners. We've had many nonprofits make the switch from Salesforce to Common Ground, our Account Executives can provide references and help discuss the process when you're ready.
Can I trial Common Ground on my existing Salesforce installation or Sandbox?
No. While technically feasible, this is not an advised practice. We recommend getting a trial version of Common Ground that is seperate from your existing installation and evaluating it thoroughly before beginning the process to have it installed.
Is the price of Common Ground in addition to what I'm paying to Salesforce?
Yes. Like Salesforce, Common Ground follows a per seat license model. Each staff person who wishes to use Common Ground will need a Common Ground license that is associated with their Salesforce user license. Our pricing for seats 1-10 is $100 per month per license. We are happy to provide a quote for organizations seeking 11 or more licenses.
Must all of my Salesforce users have a Common Ground license?
No. You can choose to purchase only the Common Ground licenses you need, which may or may not equal the number of Salesforce licenses being used. Have 10 Salesforce licenses but need only 5 Common Ground licenses? No problem.
