"Convio has been an amazing tool for Operation Kindness. We projected that we would double our online donations from the previous year when we moved to Convio. We actually saw more than a five-fold increase. We went from $27,000 to $155,000 during the first year! We are impressed that these results continue to improve." - Michelle Wilde, director of marketing and IT, Operation Kindness |
Founded in 1976, Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. Operation Kindness has saved more than 48,000 animals since its inception. The organization cares for an average of 150 - 200 animals on a day-to-day basis, with another 60 - 80 animals in its foster homes. More than 2,500 dogs and cats are adopted from Operation Kindness each year. The mission of Operation Kindness is to provide quality care for homeless or unwanted cats and dogs in a compassionate, no-kill environment until they are adopted into responsible, loving homes, and to be a leader in its community in promoting humane values through education and awareness.
